Anti-Oppression and Justice in the Poems of Ibn Yamin Faryumadi

Abstract
BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVES: Literary works have been a valuable source for analyzing and studying political and social situations and analyzing and studying sociological themes from the past. Poets and writers, as one of the conscious and enlightened strata of society, have reflected many political and social issues, including justice, justice, and anti-oppression, in their works; among these writers and poets, Ibn Yamin Faryumadi is one of the famous poets of the eighth century AH who, using poetic language, has depicted many cultural, political, moral, and behavioral disorders and collapses in society, including oppression and the lack of a just system in Iran of his time. Paying attention to social justice and the collapse of the cultural and political foundation and structure in this regard is one of the main axes and intellectual system of Ibn Yamin in his poems, which is the main purpose of studying and examining the authors in this research.
METHODOLOGY: The study method in this article is documentary, library and content analysis, which was carried out on a selection of Ibn Yamin"s poems.
FINDINGS: The research findings show that Ibn Yamin"s poems, especially his pieces, contain many direct and indirect criticisms of corruption, injustice, ignorance, inefficiency of the ruling class, and disregard for the noble and the inferior of society. In his poems, while praising justice and fairness, he has well depicted the turbulent conditions and critical situation of his society and era.
CONCLUSION: Ibn Yamin can be considered one of the prominent Iranian poets in the eighth century AH who, as a social advisor and sharp thinker, criticizes injustices, moral and social collapses, and the loss of human values, and in support of the noble and the arts, and the oppressed, turns poetry into a voice of justice and fairness.
